An Ironman. A one day race covering 227 km (140.6 miles) in one go. The race breaks down into a:
3.8 KM swim
180 KM bike ride
42.2 KM run
What I've learned over the last week: if you're going to fight for anything, fight for your space. The space in your head, the space in your heart, the space that every cell in your body creates as one and the space for the air you breathe.
If you asked me about these two humans, my face will most likely light up. Instantly.
This was more than a photoshoot. It was the chance for me to hang out with two amazing people, get to know their story, what they're up to in life and genuinely have a great afternoon.

Collaborations are always a fun way to hang out with awesome people. So when Camila Nakagawa from MTV's The Challenge contacted me, I was keen to hear more about her story.
Remember watching cartoons when you were a kid and seeing four presidents' faces carved into a mountain. Yes, that's Mount Rushmore - and it exists in real life. While I strive to encourage people to want to explore the outdoors, I've witnessed beautiful places forever ruined because of what stemmed from social media. But while we're on that topic, I want to be clear on one thing: instagram didn't ruin these places.

South Dakota wasn't on my radar or bucket list - but it's definitely a spot that you should add to yours. From the rolling hills to some of the biggest caves in the US, all the way to the sky-scraping Badlands sitting under the darkest skies and the brightest stars - you won't be disappointed. ⠀⠀
