10 Spots To Get Pampered In Vancouver

After a few Instagram posts here and there about me popping into a few spots around Vancouver, my inbox quickly filled up with questions asking about some recommendations for some of my favourite places to get pampered. So, without further ado, here are 10 spots to add to your services list in Vancouver.

The Attic Hair Studio

Whenever I'm looking for fresh colour and the best head massage in town, I head over to The Attic to see Kara Gilbertson. This master stylist and educator travels all over the world for international competitions and is on top of every hair trend going.

She's taken my hair from brass to blonde, puts in pastels when I'm bored, gives me a trim to keep my hair healthy and sets me up with the best product that works wonders for my hair. If you're on the hunt for great company, a no BS hairdresser and competitive pricing: make your way into The Attic Hair Studio.

The Skin Girls

This spot in Yaletown has all things imaginable for 12/10 looking skin along with treatments for your whole bod.

I had the chance to pop in for their Celebrity Facial last month and wow! This treatment pairs a diamond microdermabrasion with LED light therapy. The celebrity facial will get rid of dull, dead skin while boosting collagen!

This is one of the many services offered. Check out The Skin Girls here.

YumiLashes Kitsilano

Head back over to the heart of kits and spend an hour with Shelby Turner. She's one of the very few people who offer Yumi Lashes in Vancouver. I was skeptical of this procedure but I've quickly taken back everything I've said about it probably being a waste of money. I was completely blown away by the results.

This keratin treatment gives your natural lashes a lift and a curl plus is topped off with a tint.  No extensions. No damage. The best part? When you throw on mascara after day two, your jaw will drop.

The team over at IV Wellness is one of my absolute favourites.  From energy boosting + hydrating IVs to massages, naturopaths and medical aesthetics - these girls do it all. Bonus, it's a few doors down from the best croissants and coffee in town (Small Victory). Grab a treat and head in for 20% off IVs on Saturdays. LEARN MORE

Ok so maybe getting your brows microblading isn't the most relaxing hour of your life, but wow is it ever worth it.  Elise has created the cutest (and cleanest) little studio in her backyard and has done wonders to my brows. Cheaping out on your microblading isn't the best of choices, but Elise offers competitive pricing and will exceed your expectations.  I highly recommend paying her a visit for a consult. LEARN MORE

I could pop into this spot twice a day, every day and never get sick of it.  With two locations in Vancouver, this reflexology spot is one of my favourite spots to disconnect. Enjoy a 10 minute foot soak paired with a back, shoulder and neck massage before moving onto 40 minutes of reflexology. It's absolute bliss. LEARN MORE

With four locations around Vancouver, this spot is easy access to great brows. Your thread/wax session can be complimented by a trim and a tint...and it always ends with a face massage.  LEARN MORE.

This piece of paradise is located on the 5th floor of the Fairmont Pacific Rim in downtown Vancouver. Aside from 12/10 services, you'll have access to the terrace, pools and spa areas.  The perfect spot for a solo day or a girls weekend. LEARN MORE

Located on the 17th floor of the JW Marriott in the Parq Vancouver, this place is quite the treat. I enjoyed the Douglas signature body wrap in a treatment room that overlooked the entire city as the sun set and the evening lights started to sparkle.  This was one of the best spa treatments I ever had!
